At WHRO Public Media we believe in the power of music to help sustain, uplift and connect us during challenging times. Even though we can’t gather together in person right now, we are committed to sharing music with you however we can, and to supporting our local arts community. With public performances canceled or postponed, many musicians are finding creative ways to connect online, and we want to help. So we created a virtual version of our popular Classical Open Mic!

If you missed this series on our Facebook page, you can see some submissions here.

We've selected a few performances to highlight:

Vikram, 11 years old

Paul Kim, conductor of ODU Symphony Orchestra
Loure from Johann Sebastian Bach's Violin Partita No. 3 in E Major

Rebecca Gilmore of Ambrosia Quartet
